About the Role
The Administration Coordinator Cultural Programs reports to the Manager, Cultural Programs who is based in Mildura.
This position supports Djirra’s Cultural Programs Team by developing processes, tools and client management systems that support the delivery of all Cultural Programs activities.
This position will provide secretariat support to Cultural Programs governance mechanisms (both internal and external) and manage relationships with external service providers to establish and maintain a range of program delivery modality and content. Cultural Programs include:
- Yarning About Culture and curated organisational specific training
- Cultural Conversations (Djirra staff)
- Cultural Conversations in Session (Judiciary and private legal practitioners)
- Barristers Cultural Capabilities Program
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Essential
- Extensive experience in an administrative role
- A Victorian Employees Working With Children’s Check card
- National Police Check
- Driver’s License
Desirable
- Experience in an Aboriginal Community Controlled, legal and/or community setting
- Diploma in business administration (or equivalent qualification)
- Advanced PC skills, including strong familiarity with MS suite of tools, especially Word and Excel
