Administration Coordinator - for the Quality and Safety team.
Employment Type: Full Time Fixed Term - Relief position from 10/02/2024 to 23/01/2026
Remuneration: Competitive Pay Range dependant on experience starting from Level 4 up to Level 6 Admin Officer ranging from $36.43 p/h to $42.44 p/h + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Location: Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital
The Wesley Hospital Quality & Safety team provides support to the hospital Executive in monitoring and managing quality and safety; implementing and monitoring the Quality Management System; and ultimately maintaining certification against the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and effective high-level organisational and administrative assistance to the Quality Manager and Team of the Quality and Safety Unit.

- Previous administrative experience, ideally this will include experience in the health industry.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to self motivate in an autonomous role.
- High level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills incorporating the abilities to demonstrate tact, integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and supporting the implementation of change programs and improvement strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of Office Applications: Word, Excel, SharePoint, TEAMS and Outlook
- High level of initiative and negotiating skills to resolve issues in the day-to-day work environment.
- Ability to foster harmonious work relationships and work as an effective team member.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent administrative skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and establish work priorities.
- Ability to understand the sensitive nature of the hospital environment and apply diplomacy and act accordingly.
- Effective time management skills.
