Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Hineuru Iwi Trust is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administration Generalist to support our operational and governance activities. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our Whānau database, coordinating administrative functions, and facilitating smooth communication and logistics across the Trust.
Working closely with Senior Administration, our internal team and external partners, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to the Trust’s strategic goals and play a key role in serving our community.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily tasks such as data entry, database management, and handling correspondence, coordinating logistics, travel, and accommodation for staff and board members.
  • Act as a secretary and minute-taker for board meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and maintain accurate governance communication records.
  • Assist in organizing Annual and Special General Meetings (AGM/SGM), including arranging venues, catering, and managing voting and attendee registrations.
  • Maintain and update the Whānau database to ensure data accuracy and reliability, supporting seamless information flow and strategic planning.
