Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented, detail-oriented and highly organised Administration / H&S Assistant to join our team at our Napier tannery.

Reporting to the Tannery Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the site leadership team to identify, eliminate and minimise risks
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, procedures and systems
  • Document and manage incident and injury reporting and assist in investigations when required
  • Communicate the importance of H&S to all people on site
  • Administer contractor induction/database
  • Maintaining robust employee records.
  • Assisting with site shipping requirements and documents
  • Assisting with Accounts Payable and Payroll
  • Assisting with Recruitment of on-site staff

Qualifications
We are looking for a person that can juggle multiple complex priorities and deadlines. Previous administrative and H&S experience would be highly advantageous. This role requires a person who is able to think on their feet and multitask with ease.
