Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated administrator to work within our Community Children’s Nursing Services Admin Hub at Coral House, Shrewsbury. This post will be the lead administrator for the school aged immunisation service which is a busy team delivering school-aged immunisations throughout the academic calendar and during holiday period s across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and the Domiciliary Neonatal Hepatitis B program, including Dried Blood Spot Test (DBS).
You will need to possess an understanding of the Public Health Immunisation agenda and have a vast experience in an administrative role. The post holder will be responsible for robust data triangulation & validation procedures of all vaccination programmes supporting the Clinical Team Lead so advanced excel and computer skills is essential. Project management experience will be an advantage in this role.
You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to work independently as well part of a team. The post holder will also provide line management and supervision of other administrative staff.

You will work 4 x 7.5 hour days for 41 weeks of the year (minimum of 4 weeks to be worked during school holidays across the year)
To develop and review the annual school-based immunisation schedule ensuring all schools have been included and programmes are completed within the commissioned timeframes.
To manage the Econsent process with the system provider and supporting the clinical team with the triage and scheduling of immunisations on Rio.
To collate, analyse and interpret uploaded data figures and produce reports for data triangulation and validation, highlighting and investigation any discrepancies.
To work with the administrative and clinical team and external stakeholders to reduce inequalities with focus on historically low uptake and high-risk cohorts.
To take responsibility for the single point of contact for the service and ensure external stakeholders/service users receive a timely response to any queries or requests.
