Within Defined Contribution Processing team, we have an good opportunity for an Administration Manager to be part of a team in the delivery of DC investment change projects. You and your team will provide a valued and well-regarded service to our impressive portfolio of clients that include several prestigious and trend setting global companies. You will be responsible for overseeing the Team’s workflow and priority management to ensure all work is delivered on time and to a high level of accuracy. You will need to work with other project stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver the required project to a high standard and within agreed project milestones.

Due to the importance and nature of this role it will be mainly office based initially as we feel it’s important you spend time with your team – but once established we can offer flexible homeworking in line with our new hybrid working model.
The Role
- Take responsibility for overseeing the team’s workflow and priority management of DC investment change projects, in line with agreed project milestones and SLAs.
- Assist in the management of the DC Processing Team resources efficiently through peaks and troughs in project work.
- Pro-actively plan ahead, prioritise and organise work to meet the ongoing business priorities.
- Facilitate smooth knowledge transfer and ongoing development within the team via well documented and updated training materials
- Coach, mentor and drive colleague training, development and team performance
- Self start with managing DC Processing Team project items and actions, attending internal and external calls with project stakeholders and spearhead more complex/project work when required.
- Attend internal and external calls with project stakeholders when required.
- Ensure all work and documentation is completed in line with work excellence guidelines
- Review all project change, highlight areas of concern and ensure processes are in place to mitigate associated risks
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the technical and procedural aspects of DC investment change projects
- Drive best practice and identify continuous improvements.
- Work with your team and the business to create a positive working environment.
- Take ownership and accountability of the tasks assigned to the team and monitor work allocation to ensure service levels are achieved
- Deliver KPIs in line with the prescribed targets
- Assist with internal and external audit checks
- Continuously seek to identify areas where the service to clients could be improved and work with your line manager to drive agreed changes forward.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high levels of service are achieved.
- Encourage teamwork by sharing knowledge, ideas, and solutions.
- Provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client needs and to promote the WTW brand.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience with people and work management is essential.
- Prefer to have previous experience of working of DC investment change projects or working in Financial Services/Insurance industry and have some pensions background.
- Interpersonal skills to include excellent written and verbal communication.
- Extremely well organised and be able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritise your tasks and those of your team.
- Able to work to targets and deadlines.
- Must be able to work to a high level of accuracy.
