MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
- Fluency in English and German. Knowledge of French and/or other European languages is advantageous.
- Experience coordinating projects.
- Experience developing and administering departmental budget or equivalent;
- Experience managing multiple central administrative processes; and
- Experience working across departments.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences are appreciated.
- Ability to manage and implement complex processes.
- Ability to work in partnership with others in a collaborative role.
- Advanced knowledge in current and evolving technology related to field of experience
- Knowledge of current and evolving trends in the specific field, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Experience working with government awards.
- Strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Successful experience implementing strategic program goals

Responsibilities:
- Act independently within broad program goals to prioritize tasks in the absence of specific instructions and exercise independent judgment to identify and solve problems;
- Ensure programmatic commitments, Conservancy policies and procedures, and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance. Decisions may bind the organization financially or legally.
- Manage and implement multiple projects, including setting deadlines and ensuring accountability.
- Responsible for operational compliance, to TNC policies and procedures and local laws and statutory obligations across the region.
- Oversee activities related to in-country legal, labor, and financial compliance.
- Responsible for office/facilities management and coordination of BU office management tasks and compiling reports to share with the Director of Finance and Operations.
- Organize and support organizing meetings, events and retreats.
- Responsible for maintenance of regional central filling systems.
- Point person for new office opening in new geographies and setting up new offices.
- Serve as the coordinator of Ops Admin calls and operation calls.
- Coordinator of public holiday announcements in the region.
- Ensure contracted vendors have required insurance coverage and appropriate documentation. Manages the resolution of disputes with service contractors.
- Maintain confidentiality of frequently sensitive and emotionally charged information.
- Responsible for general oversight of inventory /asset management; updating the assets and inventory register in the region
- support day-to-day financial activities such as purchasing, processing invoices, negotiating, and contracting with vendors.
- Travel occasionally, working long and flexible hours as needed.
- May supervise one or more administrative or professional staff
- Complete other duties as assigned by the DFO.
