Description:
You’ll be hugely important in making sure our home runs smoothly – an indispensable helper to our residential aged care manager and client services officer. Usually, your day will involve:
- Friendly customer service to everyone – whether in person, on the phone or over email.
- Managing the front desk, answering calls and managing emails.
- Welcoming visitors, volunteers, contractors to the home.
- Assisting with ordering supplies and staff uniforms.
- Keeping on top of paperwork – record keeping, filing etc.
- Showing off our home to future residents and their families.
- Supporting the office manager and residential aged care manager in their daily tasks.
You’ll be a people person and problem-solver, with high attention to detail. You’ll also have:
- A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid computer and data skills.
- Previous experience in a reception/administration position (highly regarded).
