Description:
This unique role within our public contracts team, will allow you to combine your strong administrative and customer service skills and develop a unique skillset within medical administration.
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer with outstanding customer service skills to work within our highly regarded Public Contract team. In this varied role, you will manage the bookings and billings for public contract referrals; liaising with patients, specialists, hospital staff and a range of other stakeholders. Your strong communications and administrative skills will ensure success in this rewarding role.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous administrative experience working in a high volume customer centric role.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Ability to follow instructions and take directions as required
- Previous experience in a hospital or medical environment will be highly regarded
