Description:

Your key responsibilities: - Provide operational support including managing office supplies and equipment, lodging repair requests statewide, and printing materials as required.- Report on Mandatory Evolve Training, ensuring staff are held accountable for their statutory and legal obligations.- Provide assistance to management and team members in recruitment processes across the branch, including booking rooms for interviews.- Co-ordinate room bookings in Brisbane for VAQ meetings, conferences and other appointments.- Support VAQ’s ongoing development of processes, resources, and procedures.- Prepare various forms and documents relating to purchasing, finance and Human Resource functions.- Use of a variety of software systems, including Microsoft suite and SAP with consideration to accuracy of data and confidentiality protocols.- Provide confidential high level secretarial support to the Directors and Executive Director when required.- Respond to stakeholder enquiries in a professional, solution-focused manner and communicate effectively to ensure objectives are achieved.Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability: - Ability to interpret and apply government policies and procedures in a decisionmaking capacity.- Works independently and identifies more effective methods of work operation.- Completes workload within established timeframes and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.- Establishes and maintains co-operative working relationships with co-workers and the public.- Speaks effectively with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.- Contributes to workplace equity, diversity, respect and inclusion that enriches our culture of respect and inclusion.- Analyses information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to define the problem or objective.- Behaves in an ethical, respectful and culturally sensitive manner.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/577532/24Closing Date: Thursday, 25 July 2024This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License
