Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This Administration Officer position is part of the highly passionate Legal Assistance for Women team under the Care & Protection and Family Law Practice, undertaking a range of administrative duties.

Each day, you can expect to:

  • Ensure client information and other records are accurately reflected in data systems.
  • Participate in processes for opening, closing, and archiving files.
  • Liaise with a range of professionals, including solicitors, psychologists court staff and the Department of Communities and Justice.
  • Undertake duties in the reception area and operate the office phone system in line with the phone roster between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm
  • Provide word processing support using Microsoft Office Systems, including correspondence, preparation of briefs, subpoenas, affidavits, and other legal documents.
