Description:
ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
- Location: Darwin
- Status: Full-time - Ongoing
If you are an enthusiastic Administration Officer, an organised multitasker with strong time management skills and a passion for working in a dynamic, culturally significant environment, then we are looking for you, the NLC is seeking a dedicated administrator to join our Permits Agreements and Compliance Team (PACT) to support our meaningful work across the Top End.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Previous experience in administration roles, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, and external stakeholders to build strong, productive relationships and drive impactful engagement.
In Addition to this we are looking for:
- Certificate III in Business Administration and/or relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in administration or transferable skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and interest in, the lived experiences of Aboriginal people in the NLC region.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise across cultural contexts.
- Demonstrated high level cross-cultural, interpersonal and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively liaise, engage and coordinate across an organisation and to build productive working relationships with work colleagues, constituents and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Manage the PACT mailbox for allocation and required actions.
- Book travel and accommodation for PACT.
- Calendar management for the PACT Manager and PACT meeting and reporting requirements.
- Assist with data entry across all reporting systems as required.
- Assist with ad hoc Permit issues and Contract Compliance team reporting and monitoring.
- Ensure records are aligned with Content Management standards.
