This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established, highly regarded and high performing team working within Bedford Borough Council. We are looking to recruit within the team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join the OH Team to provide high quality administrative support in the planning, development and operational delivery of OH services to both internal and external clients. This role acts as first point of contact with customers and provide the OH Service with an efficient administrative support service including the development and maintenance of office systems through the use of digital processes.
You will have comprehensive administrative experience as well as excellent written and communication skills in order to provide information, advice and guidance to clients on OH related services, which include pre-employment health assessments; management referrals; ill-health retirements; and statutory health surveillance. Good organisational skills and IT/data base experience with proficiency in using excel and working with statistical and financial data are critical to this role. As is a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in using Agresso and audiotyping is desirable, or willingness to undertake training in these, is essential to the day to day operation of the service.
The post is based at Borough Hall however, the Council operates an agile working policy, and therefore some working from home will be possible.
