Responsibilities:

IN THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • respond to helpdesk queries from schools, markers and invigilators by phone and email
  • record details of all contact in a contact management system (JIRA)
  • assist schools with software familiarisation
  • follow data management processes
  • contact and support schools with NAPLAN preparation tasks
  • undertake general administrative tasks
  • contact schools as directed
  • facilitating oral assessments using Cisco WebEx

Hours of work

  • Mandatory full-time attendance required for training from 23 to 27 September 2024.
  • During Friday 18 October - Sunday 20 November 2024, weekend work, on a shift roster basis will be required, between 7:30am to 8:00pm.
  • Outside of the period stated above, the hours of work will be between 8am and 5pm on a shift roster basis, weekend work will be advised in advance.
  • Dependent on the needs of the business unit, hours may be reduced, extended, or the number of people required each day may vary.
  • Requirements for the following day will be communicated as early as possible in advance.
  • Additional weekend work may be required at from time to time. Confirmation will be provided in advance.

Confidentiality Agreement
Each person will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to their commencement date.
Conflict of Interest
Due to the nature of the work, any persons who have a real or perceived conflict of interest are not permitted to be engaged. For example: a close relative or friend in Year 12 in 2024 or tutoring a student in Year 12 in 2024. A relative or family member in Years 3, 5, 7 or 9 in 2025.
