We are looking for a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Regional Manufacturing Manager, As the customers first point of contact over the phone, the role is responsible for managing the accuracy of stock inventories and performing all inventory management functions, accounts payable duties, management of inbound and outbound deliveries over the weighbridge, IMS document control, CHEP Pallet Control and general administration duties. The role may also provide support and/or relief of Administration functions within the regional remit.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct all activities safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service during the enquiry, order entry and delivery process and ensuring accuracy and excellence are delivered at all times
  • Ensure that the daily administration processing procedures are followed per national timeframes and guidelines
  • Run and analyse inventory reports to ensure data integrity is maintained.
  • Complete all inbound receival checking and verification.
  • Conduct daily/monthly inventory reconciliations
  • Management of weighbridge and transport bookings for site
  • Receive and process all non-inventory delivery notes, standing orders and invoices
  • General administration duties as required
  • Provide support and relief to other Regional Hub Administration as directed by management.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management or delegates.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures
  • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of general accounting and administration functions
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members
