Description:

The Law Society of New South Wales is looking for an Administration Officer to join its Policy and Practice Department on a full-time fixed term basis for 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for administration of committees, including preparing agendas and arranging venue and catering for committee meetings
- Administrative support to the Director and staff
- Maintenance of current tasks and submissions and tracking documents, etc
- Compilation of departmental reports and schedules (eg reports to Council, annual reports, annual meeting schedule)
- Filing and records maintenance (including document registers and SharePoint)
- Word-processing (letters, memos, submissions, reports etc)
- Website entries and updates
- Responding to telephone enquiries from internal and external customers, including legal practitioners, and referring queries as appropriate
- Other administrative tasks and ad hoc work as required
