About your opportunity
- Provide advice and assistance to THHS staff and patients relating to medical requirements of travel for patients travelling to Specialist Services (including patients referred from their local hospital and, patients returning home following treatment at TTH).
- Provide advice to staff on matters relating to domestic and international travel in accordance with Queensland Health travel policy and corporate procedures, ensuring compliance with Whole of Government travel arrangements.
Generous remuneration package value up to $7900 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range of $2864.10 to $3185.10 p.f. (AO3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to ensure the best possible service outcomes.
- Proven ability to work effectively as an individual with limited supervision and to meet deadlines and established work priorities.
- Deliver high level customer service within the Travel Office by providing a consistently friendly, efficient service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- High level communication skills including customer liaison, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse client travel requirements and to arrange travel in accordance with Queensland Health policies and procedures, Knowledge of or an ability to rapidly acquire knowledge about the travel industry and performance of booking/purchasing travel and related services.
