About your opportunity
- Process application requests of staff / patient travel and accommodation for the Health Service, serviced by the Travel Office in accordance with Queensland Health and THHS Policies, Procedures, Standards and Guidelines (including Whole of Government arrangements).
- Provide advice and assistance to THHS staff and patients relating to medical requirements of travel for patients travelling to Specialist Services (including patients referred from their local hospital and, patients returning home following treatment at TTH).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in various databases, hard copy and electronic records.
- Undertake processing of monthly electronic and manual accounts in accordance with Public Finance Standards.
Generous remuneration package value up to $94,810 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $2864.10 to $3185.10 p.f. (AO3)
- 17.5% leave loading + leave
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to ensure the best possible service
- Proven ability to work effectively as an individual with limited supervision and to meet deadlines and established work
- Deliver high level customer service within the Travel Office by providing a consistently friendly, efficient service to all internal and external
- High level communication skills including customer liaison, attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and
- Demonstrated ability to analyse client travel requirements and to arrange travel in accordance with Queensland Health policies and procedures, Knowledge of or an ability to rapidly acquire knowledge about the travel industry and performance of booking/purchasing travel and related
