Description:

An exciting administrative opportunity has arisen within the General Surgery & Gastrointestinal (GSGI) Directorate within Planned Care. for an Administration Support Manager. This role will support across CTMUHB with an agreed base site.
The Patient Pathway Supervisor and Validator will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the GSGI Pathway Validation Team with a remit for undertaking detailed patient level validation to ensure accurate and robust information to support performance reporting, high data quality and to assist in managing patients’ through their SCP (Single Cancer Pathway) & RTT (Referral to Treatment) pathway.
This post is vital to support across the Health Board with delivery of the Single Cancer Pathway and elective recovery of RTT performance within Surgery, Breast, Vascular, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. The appointee will be required to validate patient pathways, support with SCP delivery, RTT recovery programme, liaise with multi-disciplinary team members in pathway planning and actioning patients accordingly.
To supervise on a day-to-day basis the RTT Validation Coordinators responsible for ensuring first line validation is undertaken and Cancer/RTT tracking systems are updated pan CTM.
To ensure patient pathways are validated and live to support optimal pathways to meet Ministerial Targets.
Assist the Directorate with performance data and assurance pan CTM.
Escalate capacity and data quality issues to the Directorate Management team so that issues can be resolved in a timely manner.
Assist in the development and management of an effective Validation Team ensuring deliverables and KPI’s are met to agreed timescales and quality standards.
Planning, prioritisation and allocation of workstreams for all team members.
Assisting the induction process for all new team members.
To provide specialist Cancer, RTT knowledge, training and support for team members, as well as Outpatient and Inpatient Booking teams to improve their effectiveness.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
