Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Knauf has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Team Leader to join our Contracting Support Services team in a full-time permanent position. Reporting to the national Operations Manager, this role is responsible for leading the CSS function within Knauf Linings (KL).
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on achieving results through planning, process and resource management, collaboration as well as excellent customer service. Controlling the profitability of the Knauf Linings business, this role is expected to share the workload as required, coach, lead and train staff as well as assist the National Operations Manager in implementing various strategic initiatives.
This role can be based out of one of our manufacturing plants in Camellia, NSW or Pineknba, QLD.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and lead day to day operations of the Estimating function within CSS
  • Manage CSS team driving performance to deliver financial and process results to the KL business
  • Management and development of internal teams with a focus on performance improvements
  • Develop, implement and manage a clear process of jobs allocation to optimize resource output and flow of information
  • Manage end-to-end estimating activities ensuring on time completion of tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Measure, display and report daily KPI performances through effective communication an visual management
  • Ensure estimated commercial outcomes are achieved through internal profit matrix / delegated
