POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are a busy, family-run company seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Accounting Help to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing business while working in a supportive and respectful environment that truly values the journey of each team member.
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our financial processes are organized and efficient. You’ll work closely with all departments, assisting with a range of administrative tasks that keep the company running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in accounting or finance a plus).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Have a strong understanding of digital tools, the ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
  • Experience with Google Workplace.
  • A strong understanding of QuickBooks and Sage accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Experience in an office environment.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to grow and embrace new challenges.
  • Interest or background in the construction or excavating industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing of invoices and bills for services provided.
  • Help with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Handle incoming payments and track receivables.
  • Provide general office support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  • Bookkeeping tasks, such as reconciling accounts and balancing ledgers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business operations.
