Description:

We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant 2 in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. The role involves providing high-level administrative support, managing information requests, conducting research, and performing various clerical functions. The job is in an office setting in the industry and offers a long-term employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintenance of precise customer credit records
  • Providing responses to routine inquiries in correspondence
  • Handling of incoming and outgoing mail along with office walk-ins
  • Answering phone calls and managing Facebook activity
  • Processing tenant rent checks and invoices
  • Keeping track of and inputting tenant sales
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for various tasks
  • Monitoring and updating COI for both tenants and contractors
  • Conducting check runs and filing the same
  • Preparing open/close reports for security and running aging for meetings
  • Distributing leasing applications and maintaining an updated contractor list for roof access
  • Regular updating of the website and sending out tenant rent statements/credit statements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in sales
  • Familiarity with office functions and clerical duties
  • Ability to answer inbound calls professionally and efficiently
  • Skillful in conducting research and reviewing documents
  • Knowledgeable in using ‘About Time’ software
  • Understands the importance of security measures in the office setting
  • Experience in check processing and credit handling
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and financial notes
  • Familiarity with ‘Conductivity’ software
  • Proficient in scanning documents and maintaining logs
  • Ability to distribute faxes and handle correspondence efficiently
  • Knowledgeable in maintaining and updating websites
