AFDA is inviting applications for the position of administrative assistant in the School of Live Performance, Cape Town campus.
Roles and responsibilities
Reception duties: liaising with public, administrative staff, learning staff and students.
Programmes administration: timetabling, attendance capture, working with the data, minute taking, reporting.
Course administration: administrative support around coursework, administrative support for contributing lecturers, administrative support for projects and theatre productions.
School administration: budget preparation, invoicing and payments; reporting.
Student adminstration: managing attendance; record keeping; general assistance; reporting.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher

Selection criteria
Matric
Established work experience in tertiary education.
Knowledge of the Performance and/or film/television industries.
