The National Center of Competence in Research NCCR Catalysis aims to develop skills, tools, and technologies that facilitate the transition towards a carbon-neutral and waste-free chemical industry for a sustainable society. Jointly led by ETH Zurich and EPFL since 2020, the research program is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and currently comprises 14 member institutions with over 200 members. The program’s second funding phase (August 2024 through July 2028) was recently confirmed.
The NCCR Catalysis Project Office is looking for an Administrative Assistant (60-80%) to support the team as of October 2024.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will support the Program Officer and other team members within the NCCR Catalysis Project Office with the following tasks, including:
- Managing office operations, team organization, and email communications.
- Handling community management, including website and database access.
- Scheduling of meetings and events, preparing internal/external communications.
- Organizing and coordinating online and in-person events with 150+ attendees across Switzerland.
- Collecting information and documents from various partners.
- Preparing administrative and financial documents and organizing them in a structured, uniform manner.
- Maintaining an internal and an SNSF reporting database.
- Providing administrative support to the Director.
