Description:

BRONX ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for their office in the Bronx in Westchester Square to provide support to staff and clients. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing a variety of administrative procedures and systems associated with the BOH and the agency. Performs work in accordance with Office of Mental Health guidelines for Supported as well as CCCS and BOH Policies and Procedures. Administrative Assistant works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Salary is $22.00 an hour to $24.00 an hour ($45,760 - $49,920 annually). Pro-rated on time actually worked during the year.) Salary is commensurate with educational attainment and skill set.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of related office work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills.
  • Entry level skills with Microsoft Office including WORD and EXCEL.
