An Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in keeping an office running smoothly. They handle a variety of tasks including managing schedules, organizing files, responding to emails, and coordinating meetings. In this role, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. Administrative Assistants often act as the first point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that operations flow seamlessly across departments.
Compensation: $44000-45000 Annually
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Onsite
Work Hours: 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Specifically, the “Administrative Assistant” will be responsible for:
- Providing general support including but not limited to mailing, scanning and faxing, ordering supplies, reception coverage, preparing correspondence, data entry, filing, scheduling/arranging meetings and booking rooms, and maintaining databases, reports, documents and other office files.
- Front Desk duties such as greeting visitors to the campus and directing them to the appropriate area
- Assisting the Career Services department with their activities
- Maintaining general security by managing access to the campus facilities and equipment and supplies. If available observing security monitor.
- Maintaining internal communication and messages between staff and students
- Maintaining student transcript databases through entering marks and attendance
- Maintaining policies, procedures and up to date forms files; keeping files adequately stocked
- Supervising entrance examinations for admissions staff, and student make-up examinations for instructors
- Monitoring, maintaining and ordering general office supplies, books and academic consumable for the campus
- Providing back up & support with respect to:Orientation,Recruitment,,Instructor support,Campus processes and procedures
