JOB SUMMARY:

The Administrative Assistant/Communications Specialist will provide support to the club’s management team. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, member communications, social media, and ensuring smooth operations across various departments. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator with a passion for providing exceptional service to members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar tools).
  • Experience in administrative or communications roles is preferred.
  • A customer-focused attitude and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
  • Daily sales reconciliation and reporting.
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation.
  • Assist management with scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
  • Communications and Social Media:
  • Manage weekly membership communications, including newsletters, updates, and event announcements.
  • Create and maintain content for social media platforms to engage members and promote club activities.
  • Respond to inquiries and comments on social media promptly and courteously.
  • Membership Engagement:
  • Act as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing information and addressing inquiries.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination as needed.
  • Ensure members are informed of upcoming events, policies, and opportunities through effective communication.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Pro Shop, Food & Beverage, and Golf Operations teams to streamline member experiences.
  • Support management in executing strategic initiatives and special projects.
