The Organization
Based in the progressive Guildford area of Surrey, the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) is an association of over 5,100 real estate professionals who live and work in the BC communities of North Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Abbotsford, and Mission. The FVREB marked its 100-year anniversary in 2021.

The IDEAL Candidate
We are looking for a seasoned administrator with a high level of integrity, polish and professionalism and an appreciation for augmenting the member experience.
Ideally, you have extensive experience working in a busy corporate office to support your Executives in anticipating, preparing, and circulating Board documents, as well as organizing a multitude of successful Board, Council, Committee and Charitable Foundation meetings and events.
It goes without saying that you’re a results-driven team player who works well collaboratively, both within your immediate team and within a cross-functional “project team” environment.
What You’ll Do
Working with numerous Committees and constructs of the Board that may from time to time be established, the incumbent is responsible to coordinate, organize, and support meetings / events and activities which foster REALTOR® engagement, community investment, and the workings of organized real estate. Contributing to the development of tools, processes, and interactions which facilitate the work of the Brokers Council and Board Committees amongst others, the incumbent concurrently provides operational and organizational support.

What You’ll Need:
- Post-secondary study in a relevant discipline
- Minimum eight (8) years of corporate administrative experience
- Minimum five (5) years of direct experience working with Committees or Board of Directors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point), with min. typing speed of 60WPM
- Concentrated experience in agenda development, minute taking, and events management shall be considered significant assets, including:
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude, ability to adapt to change, and superior sense of accountability and responsibility over assigned objectives, outcomes, and records.
