Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The College of Pharmacy includes undergraduate and graduate programs with a mission to enhance health and wellness through pharmacy education, research and community service. Reporting to the Administrative Manager, College of Pharmacy, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and delivering all administrative functions required to support the Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) and the Program Evaluation (PE) division office of the College of Pharmacy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Business Administration diploma with approximately two to three years’ related experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be highly organized and to prioritize work.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the daily functioning of the CPE office to ensure services are provided and maintained to sustain excellence.
  • Management and Administration of the programs and financial procedures of Dal CPE.
  • Develop and maintain programs and registrations in software (Destiny) ensuring each program is represented accurately, with correct pricing, grading information etc., and can be easily accessed by learners .
  • Plan, schedule and manage resources for all administrative aspects of running live online, in-person and asynchronous programs. Ensure proper storage of CPE legal documentations for required periods.
  • Receive, track and organize PE data, follow-up on surveys, organize focus groups and other data gathering methods, prepare reports.
  • Support the Strategic Planning and Program Evaluation Committee and all functions associated with accreditation, support the Program Evaluation team by scheduling and recording meetings.
