JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Administrative Assistant, Entry Level will provide essential administrative support to the systems engineering and architecture development processes. The role involves coordination and documentation related to travel, meetings, and conferences, as well as various administrative services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: No prior experience is required; however, familiarity with administrative tasks and procedures is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in typing and preparing documents accurately and quickly.
- Familiarity with computer terminals and word processing software.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistics are effectively managed.
- Provide administrative support for systems engineering and architecture development processes, including:
- Preparation, review, and compliance monitoring of documents.
- Evaluation of progress and schedule compliance.
- Conduct technical assessments as required.
- Develop and maintain a variety of reports, including monthly progress/status reports.
- Produce invoices to the Government categorized by ACRN, Functional Area, System Name, etc.
- Handle normal non-technical and technical office administrative tasks efficiently.
- Type highly specialized technical reports rapidly and accurately, ensuring adherence to formatting and content standards.
- Operate computer terminals and/or work processing center equipment; maintain familiarity with relevant software and tools.
- Monitor and track obligations and expenditures for assigned contract tasks, schedules, and ceilings.
- Resolve billing and invoice discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
