Description:

The post offers an exciting opportunity to join the Nursing and HPE Directorate within Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) and is responsible for Workforce Transformation, Commissioning and Education in Wales.
Although this post has been advertised as a fixed term appointment, NHS staff will be offered the appointment as a secondment. If you wish to apply for a secondment, you must have the approval of your line manager. This position may be extended or made permanent at the end of the fixed term/secondment period depending on available funding and business needs.
The post holders will be required to provide effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the Nursing and HPE Directorate within HEIW and have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing demands and interruptions . The role(s) will involve the coordination and implantation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organizational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.
The post holders will be the first point of contact for the service requiring clear communication and liaison skills.
They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their initiative.
The post holders will be required to work as part of a team and require cross cover during periods of absence.
The post holders must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 6 months to meet the needs of the service.
