Description:
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose or primary objective of this position.
The administrative assistant is to provide entry-level HR support to the operation of Open Arms Care Corporation. Performs duties under immediate supervision, seeking advice and direction to respond to non-routine issues. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the primary functions of the job.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Describe the education, knowledge required, years of experience, specific skills and abilities required to do the job on a fully competent basis.
Knowledge skills and abilities to perform job duties
High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year of administrative assistant or HR experience required.
Valid TN driver’s license required.
Intermediate proficiency level using a PC and related programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media for recruitment purposes.
Competencies: Describe the specific skills required for this position in terms of technical, managerial, interpersonal skills and unique abilities.
Excellent organizational, written and communication skills.
Ability to develop talent pipelines and source potential candidates.
Understanding of recruiting metrics.
Must be able to demonstrate cooperative team skills.
Employee Supervised: Indicate the number of employees that report to this position (only complete for exempt supervisory /managerial positions).

Responsibilities:
Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function or responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.
- Assists team members with recruitment and screening activities for non-exempt employees, which includes scheduling interviews and maintaining the applicant tracking system.
- Provide feedback to hiring managers regarding applications/candidates.
- Researches, schedules and attends virtual and in-person job fairs.
- Utilizes social media to source potential candidates.
- Greet visitors at front desk and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Type all documents in a timely manner.
- Answer the phone, direct calls and take messages.
- Copy materials as needed/requested.
- Maintain all office machines.
- Provide administrative support to senior team members and performs other duties as required.
