Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of a High School degree and six months to one year of receptionist experience. Previous HR experience preferred. Formal education may be substituted with experience and training when competency in the position is demonstrated.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Answering phones and directing calls in a professional manner
  • Greeting visitors and directing them to the correct contact
  • Monitor and order plant consumables
  • Processing monthly reports as needed
  • Processing invoices and issue purchase orders
  • Overseeing all plant/office vendors
  • Keeping all bulletin boards current.

HR Duties:

  • Scheduling candidates for on-site plant tours/interviews as requested by Regional HR Manager.
  • Assist the Regional HR Manager with any hiring needs (creating files, filing paperwork, etc.)
  • Benefit enrollment assistance (annually and as needed for new hires)
  • Wellness Screening assistance (annually and as needed for new hires)
  • Wellness Challenge company-wide postings and encouragement
  • File corrective actions, performance reviews, and other documentation.
  • Track PPE Purchases for Safety Glasses and Boots
  • Assist teammates with UltiPro as needed (e.g. printing paystubs, W-2’s, updating addresses, phone numbers, taxes, dependents, and contacts.
  • Coordinate birthday and anniversary activities (post flyers, send cards, hand out goodies)
  • Coordinate special events (dinners, challenges, ordering t-shirts, etc.)
  • General HR assistance as needed, which may include: post PTO/points, hang corporate job openings in the plant for teammates to see (and remove when expired), assist with benefits questions/concerns, paycheck concerns, medical bill questions/concerns, assistance related to timeclock issues, respond to emails from the HR dept on various requests or tasks that need to be completed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
