Description:

Dakota State University is actively seeking an Administrative Assistant I to provide essential support to both the Governors Cyber Academy and Project Boundary Fence teams. This role involves not only administrative tasks but also comprehensive management of grants for both teams.

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

Responsibilities:

  • Grant Management: Assist in all phases of the grant and sponsored funding process, including researching and identifying funding opportunities, preparing and submitting applications, and ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are met.
  • Administrative Support: Oversee daily business operations, including processing travel reimbursements, ordering supplies, maintaining calendars, collecting accreditation evidence, and managing communications via email and phone.
  • Event Coordination: Contribute to the planning, organization, and execution of both on-campus and off-campus outreach and enrichment activities.
