Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide clerical or direct services to the Development and Foundation Services departments, tracking of various projects and programs and administrative support for department projects. This is accomplished by answering phones for multiple departments; providing customer service to donors, students, faculty, staff and the public; tracking the daily cash log; assisting with tracking of special projects and grants; maintaining project and donor records; maintaining mailing lists and providing administrative assistance with various campaigns.
Other duties include performing routine clerical tasks & support activities and working as a supportive and integrated team member for all initiatives of the Offices of Development and Foundation services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Three (3) years administrative support related experience.
-OR-
Associate’s degree AND one (1) year administrative support related experience.

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy maintaining records.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with clients, students, staff, and public.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Administrative support to department of Development or Foundation Services experience at a university or community college.
