Description:
AIMS Companies is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II to join our growing team.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with payroll programs such as SAGE 300CRE and/or Paycom.
- Advance computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be 18+ years old.
- A pre-employment drug test and background check is required.
- High school diploma or GED required and at least 1 year of experience.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs, walk without assistance, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Above-average customer service and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision making ability.
- Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.
- Be polite, considerate and have a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of state one-call agency program regulations.
- Working knowledge of Texas 811 and One Call Ticketing system.
- Conducting oneself in professional manner.

Responsibilities:
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering Phones and directing to appropriate party
- Typical office duties; filing, shredding, supply ordering, etc.
- Utilizing basic Microsoft programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
- Filing alphabetically and sequentially
- Assistance with payroll
- Data Entry
- Tracking man hours
- Using basic knowledge of math
- Assisting with coding out expense spreadsheets
- Assisting Office Manager in other duties as they arise
- Occasional errands for the office
