Description:

AIMS Companies is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant II to join our growing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with payroll programs such as SAGE 300CRE and/or Paycom.
  • Advance computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
  • All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be 18+ years old.
  • A pre-employment drug test and background check is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required and at least 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lbs, walk without assistance, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Above-average customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making ability.
  • Capable of working under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Be polite, considerate and have a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of state one-call agency program regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Texas 811 and One Call Ticketing system.
  • Conducting oneself in professional manner.
  • Be detail-oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities:

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Answering Phones and directing to appropriate party
  • Typical office duties; filing, shredding, supply ordering, etc.
  • Utilizing basic Microsoft programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Filing alphabetically and sequentially
  • Assistance with payroll
  • Data Entry
  • Tracking man hours
  • Using basic knowledge of math
  • Assisting with coding out expense spreadsheets
  • Assisting Office Manager in other duties as they arise
  • Occasional errands for the office
