Description:

You will be joining our friendly, welcoming and supportive Community Mental Health East Admin Team based across Lichfield and Burton-upon-Trent to support our busy reception and admin team within our Community Mental Health Services and you will be expected to work in both geographical locations on a rotational basis so will need to be able to travel across the patch.

For this role you will ideally hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification/experience, however this is not essential. Full Time (37.5 hrs per week) 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
To be successful in this role you will be required be a highly organised, professional and adaptable administrator and an excellent communicator with a high level of written and spoken English and proficient in using systems however, training will be provided.

This Admin/receptionist role offers wide variety of daily tasks including:

  • Handling a large number of incoming calls, which can be challenging, distressing and of a sensitive nature.
  • Communication skills are vital, along with the ability to prioritise work and produce quality documents in a very busy environment.
  • Welcoming service users and their family or carers into the service on arrival.
  • Producing both standard, bespoke or dictated letters via RiO (our clinical record system)
  • Completing a wide range of admin tasks from an electronic work flow inbox
  • Scanning, uploading and copying.
  • Room bookings via outlook room calendars.
  • Training and personal development are important to us and 1-to-1 supervision and appraisals with the Admin Team Leader are ongoing.
