JOB DESCRIPTION

Paul Byron - Ireland’s largest independent footwear retailer with 17 stores across the country since 1978 - are looking for a part time administrative assistant to join our team. At Paul Byron we are passionate about providing the best possible customer service and shopping experience. Reporting to the Accounts Manager and HR they will be responsible for the accurate processing of invoices, filing, and general office duties . Strong communication and attention to detail are a must. The successful candidate must be proficient in Word and Excel and have previous experience in these applications. Previous experience in a similar role is desired.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Discretion when handling sensitive documentation.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: €12.70-€13.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 22.5 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, e-mailing, scanning and filing
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Other duties as assigned
