Vertiv’s Powerbar division specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality busbar systems, critical for efficient power distribution in various industries. This department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of innovative busbar solutions into diverse operational environments.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school education with
  • UK: GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • Republic of Ireland: Junior Certificate (Ordinary or Higher Level) or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • Further education, such as A-Levels, NVQ Level 3 (UK), or Leaving Certificate (Ireland), is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience :
  • Prior experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous but not essential.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry tools.
  • Familiarity with document management systems is a plus.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all quality procedures, compliance standards, and related documentation are meticulously reviewed, updated, and completed to support the installation operations of the Powerbar division. The role demands attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards across documentation and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Procedure Review and Support
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining quality procedures to ensure they align with company and standards.
  • Highlight any discrepancies or updates needed in existing procedures and assist in implementing changes.
  • Documentation Management
  • Prepare, organise, and manage documentation such as testing and installation checklists.
  • Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and accessible to the installation team and other stakeholders.
  • Track and maintain logs of all project-related documentation for compliance and audit purposes
  • Administrative Support for Installation Operations
  • Provide administrative assistance to the installation team, including scheduling, tracking project timelines, and compiling reports.
  • Coordinate with teams to gather necessary information and documentation for on-site activities.
  • Data Entry and Reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date records in documentation systems or databases.
  • Assist in creating summary reports on documentation and procedural compliance for management review.
  • Team Coordination
  • Communicate with project managers, quality assurance teams, and installation staff to address documentation needs or procedural updates.Act as a point of contact for administrative queries related to quality procedures and project documentation.
