JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sands Anderson is seeking a highly organized, client service oriented administrative assistant to join our Richmond office. This entry level role is responsible for supporting our entire firm.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Team oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet. Microsoft Teams experience a plus.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work the schedule of 8:15 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and manage priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative tasks (file opening/closing), fax, file, scan, copy, and billing.
  • Process check requests.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, visitors, and travel.
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records.
  • Provide general information to visitors and clients
  • Organize documents.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as directed.
