We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, supporting our talented staff and ensuring everything runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dogs and possess strong multitasking abilities to handle various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of our business.
Every day will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of dogs and art, while helping to create a warm and welcoming space for clients, and visitors alike. Your tasks will range from receptionist role answering all phone calls, scheduling appointments and maintaining our studio’s aesthetic. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a love for dogs, this position is perfect for you. REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information effectively and professionally.
  • Proficiency in use of a computer and database management, for efficient task completion.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all written and visual materials.
  • Experience or love of dogs and a general passion for animals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute creatively to a dynamic team environment.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £11.50-£13.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and social media messages.
  • Assist in scheduling bookings and taking deposits, ensuring all participants are informed and prepared.
  • Maintain an organised filing system for documents, contracts, and client database to facilitate easy access to information.
  • Support the preparation and setup of art celebrations, including arranging artwork collections and setting up displays.
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including expense tracking and invoice processing, to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Assist with general office tasks, such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a tidy work environment.
  • Coordinate with photographers, clients, and vendors to provide exceptional service and foster strong relationships.
