Description:

We are searching for an Administrative Assistant in Raritan, New Jersey. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with clients, provide customer service, manage schedules, and handle data entry tasks. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls in a detail oriented manner and direct them to the appropriate person or department • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer queries and concerns promptly and accurately • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date • Manage and coordinate calendars, schedule appointments and meetings as required • Handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to accomplish tasks and projects • Serve as the point of contact for IT requests, liaising between staff and the IT department • Distribute incoming mail to the correct recipients promptly and accurately • Greet and assist clients who visit the office, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment • Execute mail merge operations as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with email correspondence and managing schedules
  • Ability to answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Proficiency in Spanish language is a plus
  • Knowledge in handling Mail Merge tasks
  • Experience in setting up appointments and managing calendars
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
