Description:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our client located in Metairie, Louisiana. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of administrative duties in support of our team, with key tasks including handling inbound and outbound calls, providing customer service, and managing data entry tasks. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Assist various departments with administrative tasks as needed
- Manage data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date and accessible
- Handle all email correspondence professionally and promptly, ensuring all inquiries are addressed
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members, ensuring efficient time management
- Utilize Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to complete tasks and produce necessary documents
- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure the office runs smoothly, troubleshooting any issues that may arise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proven experience in answering inbound and outbound calls
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience in data entry tasks
- Ability to handle email correspondence professionally
- Experience in scheduling appointments effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
