Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

As Simaril Supported Living continues to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to provide vital administrative support and ensure smooth office operations. This role will be central to managing multiple projects, timelines, and communications across the organization, as well as supporting our mission to empower individuals with disabilities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably with completion of an administrative program.
  • Familiarity with office management practices and basic accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural settings with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
  • Due to the nature of this position, successful applicants must provide original Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check prior to employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • The job may require extended periods of sitting, walking, bending, and occasional lifting.
  • Work is primarily conducted in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions.
    Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM with a paid lunch break)
