JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our team! As our Administrative Assistant.
You will be the face of our unit! You will greet patients and visitors and guide them as needed. You will you will assist the nursing staff providing clerical support and clinical support as directed. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. What you will do in this role:

  • You will perform a range of clerical duties that support the operations of the unit.
  • You will act as unit receptionist greeting and directing visitors.
  • You will assist in the ordering, receipt and storage of supplies.
  • You will assemble patient charts.
  • You will answer unit telephone, transfer calls and determine when staff members should be paged, taking, and forwarding messages.
  • You may assist in providing care to the patients as directed.

What Qualifications you will need:

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required on all nursing clinical unit.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and strong communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
