Description:
Castleford Academy Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising currently of five schools: two secondary academies, one primary academy, one junior academy and one infant academy. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a geographic cluster within Wakefield. Castleford Academy Trust is in a period of transition which will see the Trust grow significantly with the academies within Northern Ambition Academies Trust planning to join the Trust in February 2025.

ACTUAL SALARY £27,049- £29,051
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled professional to join the Trust central team, working closely with the Directors of Education to manage and organise their work and diary whilst also contributing to the wider Trust administrative functions.
Ideally you will have significant experience of providing administrative support within an educational environment and you will have the key knowledge and awareness, attention to detail, flexibility and determination to make a real difference to our Trust.
Your application will need to demonstrate that you are/have:
- Substantial and successful experience of providing high quality professional and confidential administration support in an educational environment.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with a strong attention to detail.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to deliver timely, accurate and up to date documents to the required quality.
- Ability to clerk a range of meetings, producing accurate and detailed minutes
- An enthusiastic member of staff committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all pupils, staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple diaries.
- The ability to communicate efficiently with a range of stakeholders
You will also need to be:
- Supportive of the Trust’s ethos and values at all times both within the Trust and the wider community.
- An expert in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint) and other appropriate software packages.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to be resilient and determined whilst also providing support to Trust leaders and other staff within the Trust.
This position would be suitable for an experienced school PA, or senior administrative assistant with similar relevant experience, looking for progression and a career in a growing Trust.
