YOUR PROFILE
- Use of ICT applications relevant to the post, i.e. Word, Excel and ideally of Google Suite
- Previous experience in an office setting
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and appreciation of the implications of the Data Protection Act
- Good communication skills – both oral and written – and excellent standard of grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Ability to operate effectively as a member of a team and with minimum supervision
- Flexibility to meet peaks and flows of work
- Willingness to undertake training
- Knowledge of German would be an advantage
ABOUT US
The Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) is an international all-day school consisting of a campus in the north of Munich (in Haimhausen) and a campus in Munich-Schwabing. Around 1,200 students from more than 60 nations between the ages of 3 and 18 attend the recognized IB World School including kindergarten. Under the motto “Believe. Inspire. Responsibilities:
- Producing and collating a range of documents from a variety of sources, using various software packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Google suite)
- Devising and maintaining filing systems, both hard copy and electronic
- Organising and maintaining diaries
- Assisting in producing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes
- Purchasing of consumables/nonconsumables
- Producing and distributing documents, reports and emails
- Collaborating with other international school Works Councils
- Organising internal professional development for Works Council members
