JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Emergency Response Management
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Salary: $22.25 per hour non-negotiable
SUMMARY : Under the direction of the assigned supervisor this position will primarily be responsible for facilitating efficient operations of the assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Including but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities.
- Answers, transfers phone calls, screening when necessary
- Welcomes and directs visitors and clients
- Maintains filing systems as assigned
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents
- Prepares written summaries of data
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions
- Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors
- Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings
Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetingsMaintains a system for recording expenses and the use of fund
OTHER DUTIES:
- Attend meetings
- Attend mandatory trainings
- Travel as required to perform dutiesPerform related duties as assigned
