Description:
Position Summary:
We currently have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in our Des Moines office. The Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and operational support to the office to facilitate the efficient operation of UHY.

Experience and Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); 2+ year
Responsibilities:
Regular duties include (but are not limited to):
- Provide tax operational support including assembling tax returns and extensions (Business and Individual) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assemble tax organizers and tax return documents for clients.
- Download electronic files and accessing online portals.
- Organizing client data, bookmarking files for scanning and validating pages.
- Responsible for formatting and proofreading of client correspondence and facilitate the review and approval by responsible party.
- Electronically transmit final documents/tax returns to clients.
- Accurately organize and maintain electronically executed documents.
- Provide back-up coverage for administrative colleagues as well as reception and phones.
- Place lunch orders for internal meetings, Lunch & Learns, etc.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders with applicable vendors.
- Work collaboratively with other administrative assistants to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently.
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
