Overview of Position:
We are currently looking to start sales for a brand new Development in Meaford, ON. The position is full time and the administrative assistant is responsible for the majority of administrative duties in the company. This person is the one who will manage client records, organize files, answer calls, and provide support for the whole of the Presentation Centre. As administrative officer, the ideal candidate will be highly organized, and able to handle administrative records. Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Real Estate to be a great asset. Career growth includes transitioning to a full time real estate agent that will be selling homes for Sinclair Homes and will have the chance to make commissions on every sale.
This will be a great opportunity for anyone looking for real estate experience or someone looking to transition into a real estate agent as much training will be provided through exposure to contracts, clients, and listening to sales pitches. Pay will be revisited at the 3 month period and at the point in time when a real estate license is obtained a commission based compensation structure will be additional.
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of an administration officer is to provide optimal delivery of services in a professional and efficient manner that supports clients and internal staff members. The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the stated followings:
- Answering incoming calls, determining purpose of call, and transferring call or taking and delivering messages to the appropriate personnel;
- Office Setup will initially be required
- Receiving and responding to all incoming emails and sending emails by request;
- Reserving appointments for the Sales Team to meet with potential clients
- Taking and recording minutes of the meeting-Maintaining inventory of office supplies and equipment;
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the telephone, fax, photocopier, Internet, etc.;
- Managing both paper and electronic filing systems;
- Analyzing important data and generating reports and other documents by request.
- Giving brief presentations to potential clients who walk into the office
- Generating contracts and amendments based on templates given
Qualification & Attributes:
- Enthusiastic and friendly, with outstanding customer service skills;
- Excellent communicator in both written and verbal, fluent in English with other languages being an asset;
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks;
- Good organization and time management skills;
- Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy;
- Strong problem solving abilities;
- Perform well and independently in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to consistently follow up;
- Committed to displaying professionalism in all internal and external tasks;
- Strong computer skills and competency in MS Office.
Compensation and Hours:
$20.00 per hour Saturday-Sunday from 12-5pm.
Potential to move to full time hours Monday - Thurs 12-6pm in March
